Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to take part in a research stay from 01.10.2026-28.02.2027 at the University of Vienna, the Republic of Austria.
Application deadline: 27 May 2026
Eligible majors: Education, Arts and humanities, Social sciences, journalism and information, Business, administration and law, Natural sciences, mathematics and statistics, Information and communication technologies
List of documents to be submitted in English:
- CV in EUROPASS format
- Motivation letter (up to 1 page), which should explain:
- Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
- How will the research stay at University of Vienna help you achieve your life goals?
- What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
- Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
- Research Plan, signed by the PhD supervisor and the head of the department.
- Invitation letter from a UNIVIE professor confirming the hosting
To obtain a letter of invitation from a professor, you need to find the faculty and department on the university website and contact the relevant professor directly regarding your application.
- Certificate of proficiency in English (min. B2 level) and/or German (min. B2 level) and German (min. C1 level if you study German studies). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well (link for downloading Certificate template).
- Scan of Master’s diploma with supplement.
- Detailed information on previous participation in the Erasmus+ programme (duration, level of study, project type, host institution).
- Copy of the 1st page of international passport
