European Centre of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv
The European Centre at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was established in 2025 as an analytical and coordination hub to support Ukraine’s integration into the European Union, advance the European dimension of education and research, and promote knowledge of the EU and European values within Ukrainian society.
The Centre was created to foster strong partnerships between Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and academic, civil society, and public institutions in Ukraine, EU Member States, and other countries where European studies are actively pursued.
The Centre’s activities combine analytical, educational, research, and outreach components, and are aimed at fostering an expert community, promoting interdisciplinary cooperation, and raising awareness of the role of the European Union in the contemporary world, as well as the importance of European standards and practices for Ukraine’s development.
