Call for applications: Erasmus+ mobility and “Ostpartnerschaften” programme (funded by DAAD) to study at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences (SUAS), the Federal Republic of Germany

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students, 1st year Master students PhD students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during the autumn semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences, the Federal Republic of Germany.

Erasmus+ scholarship

Duration: 4.5 months

Financial support: 900 € per month for living expenses

One-time travel grant: 309 €

Ostpartnerschaften programme (funded by DAAD)

Duration: 4.5 months

Financial support: 660 € per month for living expenses

Courses

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page), which should explain:
  • Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  • How will studying at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences help you achieve your life goals?
  • What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  • Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. Certificate of proficiency in English and/or German (not lower than B2 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well(link for downloading Certificate template).
  2. Learning Agreement (Tables A and B) signed bythe student and a responsible person from the faculty / institute(dean of the faculty / director of the institute or academic mobility coordinator of the faculty / institute or head of the department. (link for downloading Learning Agreement template).

Please note that the minimum number of credits for re-enrollment is 18 ECTS.

  1. Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be approved andsignedby the academic mobility coordinator of the faculty/institute with the indicated approximate dates for the examination upon return.
  2. Photo or scan of the Transcript of Records in English. For PhD students: scan of the diploma with supplement.
  3. Detailed information on previous participation in the Erasmus+programme (duration, level of study, project type, host institution).
  4. Copy of the 1st page of international passport.
  5. Please complete the following Application form
