Project “Language Buddies” from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands

The project “Language Buddies” is designed to help scientists who have suffered from the war in Ukraine and who have difficulty publishing their work in international academic journals due to problems with the English language.

The purpose of the project is to find two scientists in the same field of studies and thus create a support system to help scientists publish in international journals and thereby contribute to the global scientific debate.

The system can also be used to obtain information about grant texts or to develop a strategy for where to publish or apply for grants.

It is an independent, grassroots project based on the dedication and solidarity of volunteer scientists.
