Participation in the exchange program at the National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan)

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd, 3rd year Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

We invite you to participate in the competitive selection to study in the exchange program within the framework of bilateral cooperation during the fall semester, the academic year 2026-2027 at the National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan).

Under the exchange program, students are offered free education during the semester, the student covers other expenses independently.

Students are encouraged to visit the websites of the departments relevant to their major and academic background for more detailed information.

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page).
  3. Certificate of proficiency in English (not lower than B2 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.

  1. For Bachelor students: scan of the Transcript of Records translated in English and certified. For acquiring a Transcript of Records, please contact an academic coordinator at the faculty/institute.

For Master students: scan of Bachelor’s diploma with supplement.

  1. Individual plan (link for downloading Individual plan template). Individual schedule has to be signed by the head of the department or the Faculty/Institute mobility coordinator. Please note that the minimum number of credits for re-enrollment is 15 ECTS.

WE DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FROM THE HOST UNIVERSITY FOR CANDIDATES!

  • Language Proficiency: for English courses, the host university suggests the nominees have the certificate of English Proficiency : TOEFL iBT 79 / IELTS 6.0.
  • Some departments may ask for Chinese Proficiency: Interdisciplinary Program in Humanities and Social Sciences, Institute of Philosophy, Institute of Taiwanese Literature, Interdisciplinary Program in Life Sciences and Medicine, Department of Mathematics, Department of Quantitative Finance, Department of Special Education, Department of Arts and Design, Interdisciplinary Program in Technology and Art, Department of Music.

Please send the documents in electronic form to  , in one PDF file (documents in other formats will not be considered) in the same order as above, the name of the file must contain the name of the University and the surname of the applicant: NTHU-2026_ Ivanenko.

*Candidates will be selected on a competitive basis. The final decision on the selection of candidates is communicated by the host university.
