Participation in the exchange program at Aoyama Gakuin University (Japan)

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd, 3rd year Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

We invite you to participate in the competitive selection to study in the exchange program within the framework of bilateral cooperation during the fall semester, the academic year 2026-2027 at Aoyama Gakuin University (Japan). Under the exchange program, students are offered free education during the semester, the student covers other expenses independently.

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page).
  3. Certificate of proficiency in English (not lower than B2 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.

  1. For Bachelor students: scan of the Transcript of Records translated in English and certified. For acquiring a Transcript of Records, please contact an academic coordinator at the faculty/institute.

For Master students: scan of Bachelor’s diploma with supplement.

  1. Individual plan (link for downloading Individual plan template). Individual schedule has to be signed by the head of the department or the Faculty/Institute mobility coordinator. Please note that the minimum number of credits for re-enrollment is 15 ECTS.

WE DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FROM THE HOST UNIVERSITY FOR CANDIDATES!

A high level of Japanese language proficiency is required for nominees as most courses offered by colleges/schools are taught in Japanese only. Japanese language proficiency is NOT REQUIRED if the applicant will be attending courses in English only (TOEFL iBT score of 68 or IELTS score of 5.5 or above if they are not native English speakers).

*Candidates will be selected on a competitive basis. The final decision on the selection of candidates is communicated by the host university.
