Tübingen Brings Us Together Again! KNU Students and Academic Staff Join the TÜ-VIP Programme 🇺🇦🇩🇪

A new semester, new connections, exciting courses and international discussions! The October 2026 edition of the TÜ-VIP (Tübingen Virtual Intercultural Program) at the University of Tübingen is well underway, with members of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv community once again taking part.
43 KNU students applied to join the programme! Representing a wide range of academic disciplines, they share a desire to learn, explore new academic horizons and become part of an international student community.
And the range of courses is truly impressive! Artificial intelligence and ethics, effective leadership, European identities, freedom of expression, peacebuilding, gender identities and cultures, contemporary Germany, intercultural communication, German language courses and even Swahili!
The programme also offers a Virtual Buddy Programme, creating opportunities for new friendships, intercultural communication and sharing experiences with students from other countries.
And this is not our first TÜ-VIP experience! KNU students and academic staff have participated in the programme before, and we are especially pleased that our academic cooperation with the University of Tübingen continues to grow, creating new opportunities for professional and personal development across our university community.
The first weeks of the programme have already passed, and the TÜ-VIP team has shared an update on KNU students’ participation.
A little reminder for those who are still expected in Tübingen’s virtual classrooms! 😊
If your status is marked Waiting List, the organisers are expecting you to join and are holding your place. Do not miss this opportunity! Attend your classes, take part in discussions, connect with fellow participants and make the most of your learning experience.
After all, international academic mobility, even in a virtual format, is first and foremost a genuine learning experience that requires time, commitment and responsibility. If your circumstances have changed and you are unable to continue a course, please inform our colleagues in Tübingen in good time.
To all our participants, keep going and make the most of this opportunity! There is still so much to discover, and we look forward to celebrating the successful completion of your courses, excellent results and certificates!
What was the experience like for previous participants? Read their stories, reflections and advice in our earlier article, “TÜ-VIP: Results of the Autumn Semester 2025”
Who knows? The next success story could be yours!
