Call for Applications: “Summer Modules for Intercultural and Language Education” (S.M.I.L.E) within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 Programme at Université Savoie Mont Blanc, French Republic

Mobility opportunity for teaching and non-teaching staff of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

We invite you to take part in the “Summer Modules for Intercultural and Language Education” (S.M.I.L.E) aimed at learning a foreign language (French, English, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, Portuguese, Intercultural communication or Intercomprehension in Romance languages) either as a participant or as a teacher.

Options: Staff may apply as Guest Lecturers (Erasmus+ STA) to co-teach language or intercultural modules, or as Participants (Erasmus+ STT) to follow language courses.

S.M.I.L.E is an amazing opportunity to

1) teach languages in France or

2) improve your language competences in the wonderful surroundings of the French Alps

Offer covers the following languages:

  • French
  • English
  • Spanish
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Romanian
  • Intercomprehension in romance languages
  • Intercultural communication

Modules are organised in Chambéry by half-days, leaving time for intercultural activities and excursions organised in the surroundings.

The total registration fee (including the course and activities) is €220.

The detailed information of the programme

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter(up to 1 page) which should explain:
  • Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  • How will training at Université Savoie Mont Blanc help you achieve your life goals?
  • What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  • Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. Certificate of language proficiency. Candidates must have at least a B2 level of proficiency in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian. Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.
