On 28 January 2026, a meeting took place between Kseniia Smyrnova, Vice-Rector for Education and Research (International Cooperation) of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and Carlos Tena, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Mexico in Ukraine.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for establishing and developing cooperation between Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and universities in Mexico, as well as identified priority areas for academic and research collaboration and possible formats for future joint initiatives.
Particular attention was paid to: engaging students in academic activities and research in the field of American Studies; organizing telebridges, video lectures, and joint online events; strengthening research cooperation in priority areas, including chemistry, biology, and medicine; involving professors and leading researchers in joint teaching and research activities.
