Swedish Textbooks for Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from Linnaeus University (Kalmar, Sweden)

On January 21, 2025, Vice-Rector for Education (International Cooperation Ksenia Smirnova, handed over textbook sets from Linnaeus University to the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation, headed by Oleksandr Stasiuk:
📚 “Rivstart A1+A2” and “Rivstart B1+B2”;
📚 “Språksociologi”.
These sets have enriched the Department’s library and will support students of Swedish Philology in their studies and research.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of the International Relations Office, Nadiia Serohina, Deputy Director of the Institute of Philology, Nataliia Semian, faculty members, and students, who had the opportunity to explore the new textbooks and discuss the development of Swedish Philology at the University.

During the meeting, a discussion was also held on the development of Scandinavian languages, modern teaching methods, and opportunities for academic exchange with international partners.

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv actively develops international cooperation. The partnership of the Department of Germanic Philology with Linnaeus University has been ongoing since 2018, and the University’s membership in the EUniWell alliance opens new opportunities for students and faculty for education and research.
