Staff Training Week “Summer Modules for Intercultural and Language Education” (S.M.I.L.E) within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171Programme at Université Savoie Mont Blanc, France

Mobility opportunity for teaching and non-teaching staff of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!
We invite you to take part in the Staff Week “Summer Modules for Intercultural and Language Education” (S.M.I.L.E) aimed at learning a foreign language (French, English, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, Portuguese, Intercultural communication or Intercomprehension in Romance languages) either as a participant or as a teacher.
Event duration: 23-27 June 2025 (+ 28th as an option)
Place: Chambéry, France
Deadline for applying to the staff week is 27 February 2025.
S.M.I.L.E is an amazing opportunity to
1) teach languages in France or
2) improve your language competences in the wonderful surroundings of the French Alps!

Modules are organised in Chambéry by half-days, leaving time for intercultural activities and excursions organised in the surroundings.

List of documents to be submitted in English:
- CV in EUROPASS format;
- Motivation letter(up to 1 page) which should explain:
- Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
- How will training at Université Savoie Mont Blanc help you achieve your life goals?
- What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
- Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
- Certificate of proficiency in English (not lower than B1 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.

Please send the documents in electronic form, in one PDF file (documents in other formats will not be considered) in the same order as above, the name of the file must contain the name of the University and the surname of the applicant: USMB_2025_Ivanenko.
*Candidates will be selected on a competitive basis. The final decision on the selection of candidates will be announced by the host university.
