CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: ERASMUS+ MOBILITY PROGRAMME FOR STUDIES AT EBERHARD KARLS UNIVERSITY OF TÜBINGEN, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY
Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students and PhD students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!
Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during Spring semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Federal Republic of Germany.

Eligible majors: German Studies and other subject areas
Course access restrictions apply for:
Economics & Business Administration: For Bachelor programs in English, overseas students need to have completed 2 math/statistics/econometrics and 2 business/economics courses (e.g., microeconomics). Does not apply for Erasmus & CIVIS students.
List of documents to be submitted in English:
- CV in EUROPASS format;
- Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
- Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
- How will study at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen help you achieve your life goals?
- What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
- Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
- Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be approved andsignedby the dean of the faculty/director of the institute or the academic mobility coordinator of the faculty/institute or the head of the department.
Please note that the minimum number of credits is 20 ECTS. - Certificate of proficiency in English or Germancompleted B1 level or B2 level. Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well. Link for downloading the Certificate template.
Proof of German language skills (min B1 completed or B2 level) is required for:
Law studies (all levels), ethnology (B.A. level), Chemistry/Biochemistry (B.Sc. level), a proof of German completed B1/on B2 by all exchange students.
Nursing (all levels): a proof of German completed B1/on B2 for students from overseas (no language proof needed for Erasmus or CIVIS students)

For Bachelor: photo or scan of the Transcript of Records in English.
Master’s students must submit a scanned copy of their Bachelor’s diploma along with the transcript (diploma supplement).
For PhD students: scan of Master’s diploma with supplement.

Financial Conditions
Participation in the Erasmus+ programme includes financial support:
- 4 monthly payments of EUR 1,150 for the period from 1 April to 31 July 2027;
- travel allowance of EUR 309; EUR 417 in case of using “green travel”.
Important! The scholarship is not paid immediately upon arrival. The first payment is expected approximately 4 weeks after the start of the mobility, following the completion of the necessary formalities in Germany.
Therefore, students must have sufficient personal funds to cover the initial expenses, including:
- visa and travel expenses;
- housing deposit and rent;
- semester social contribution (114 euro);
- living expenses until the first scholarship payment is received.
