Call for applications: Erasmus+ mobility to study at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Federal Republic of Germany

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students and PhD students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Federal Republic of Germany.

Eligible majors:  German Studies and other subject areas

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
  • Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  • How will study at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen help you achieve your life goals?
  • What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  • Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?

3. Learning Agreement (Tables A and B) signed by the student and a responsible person from the faculty / institute(dean of the faculty / director of the institute or academic mobility coordinator of the faculty / institute or head of the department. (link for downloading Learning Agreement template). Please note that the minimum number of credits is 20 ECTS.

4. Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be approved andsignedby the dean of the faculty/director of the institute or the academic mobility coordinator of the faculty/institute or the head of the department.

5. Certificate of proficiency in English or German completed B1 level or B2 level. Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well. Link for downloading the Certificate template.   

Proof of German language skills (min B1 completed or B2 level) is required for:

  • Law studies (all levels), ethnology (B.A. level), Chemistry/Biochemistry (B.Sc. level), a proof of German completed B1/on B2 by all exchange students.
  • Nursing (all levels): a proof of German completed B1/on B2 for students from overseas (no language proof needed for Erasmus or CIVIS students)

Course access restrictions apply for:

  • Human Medicine: (Clinical part): Not available for exchange students from overseas university-wide agreements. Erasmus & CIVIS students can join for up to 2 semesters, no third term.
  • Biology: available for students who are majoring in biology / a closely related study field.
  • Pharmacy: available for students who are majoring in pharmacy.
  • Faculty of Sciences (including Psychology): needs a Learning Agreement/study plan and a transcript for course approval.
  • Economics & Business Administration: For Bachelor programs in English, overseas students need to have completed 2 math/statistics/econometrics and 2 business/economics courses (e.g., microeconomics). Does not apply for Erasmus & CIVIS students.

6. Transcript of Records

  • For Bachelor and Master students: photo or scan of the Transcript of Records in English.
  • For PhD students: scan of Master’s diploma with supplement.

7. Copy of the 1st page of the international passport.
