Call for Applications: Virtual Programme “Global Citizenship and Sustainable Futures: Learning for Change”

The International Network of Universities (which KNU joined in 2023) announces the beginning of applications to participate in the fourth intake of the online programme Global Citizenship and Sustainable Futures: Learning for Change.

In March 2024, the International Network of Universities launched a new online programme addressing a range of areas relating to Global Citizenship and the United Nations SDGs, open to all INU member students. The INU and KNU are pleased to announce the beginning of the third intake.

This online programme explores what it means to be a global citizen through learning and reflecting on a range of key global issues.

The programme is collaborative in both design and delivery. Students will learn in cooperation with their foreign peers from different INU members across the world and interact in a dynamic multicultural environment.

Duration: 12-month programme beginning in October 2025

Structure: the programme consists of 3 core sessions and 3 elective sessions selected by a participant out of 6 suggested options

Format: online

Target audience: KNU full-time and extramural students and PhD students of all majors

Application deadline: 29 September 2025

Up to 10 KNU students will be selected to participate in the programme.

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page), which should explain:
  • Why do you want to participate in the programme?
  • How do you understand the term global citizenship?
  • What, from your point of view, is the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals?
  1. Certificate of the English language proficiency (link for downloading the certificate template)
  2. Online application form.
