Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students and the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Federal Republic of Germany.

Application deadline: 23 May 2025

Eligible majors: German Philology, Translation from German, Industry-specific Translation from German and English, Intercultural German Studies.

Courses

List of documents to be submitted in German or English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
  •     Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  •     How will study at the Ruhr University Bochum help you achieve your life goals?
  •     What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  •     Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. Learning Agreement(Table A and B), signed by the academic coordinator or department head (link for downloading Learning Agreement template).

Minimal amount of ECTS – 15.

  1. Individual scheduleindicating the approximate dates of session upon returning to Home university (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be signed by the head of the department or the Institute mobility coordinator.
  2. Certificate of proficiency in German (not lower than B2 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.

  1. For Bachelor and Master students: photo or scan of the Transcript of Records in English.
    1. Copy of the 1st page of international passport.
    2. Fill out the Application form

Please send the documents in electronic form to , in one PDF file (documents in other formats will not be considered) in the same order as above, the name of the file must contain the name of the University and the surname of the applicant: RUB-autumn-2025-Ivanenko.
