“Winter School” for students at Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL), Argentina

Universidad Nacional del Litoral opens registration for the Winter School for students in Argentina, which takes place between June-August 2024.  This year’s winter school will focus on ‘A local agenda for sustainable development’.

The School will be delivered in two parts/modalities: from June 24th to July 5th virtually and from July 22nd to August 2nd, the face-to-face classes will take place at UNL, Santa Fe, Argentina. The schedule will also contain field activities in the city of Villa Ocampo in the province of Santa Fe.

The School will be taught in Spanish. It is aimed at international students enrolled in undergraduate and master programs.

The school offers a “Local Agenda for Sustainable Development” approach with a critical view of the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) approved in 2015 by the United Nations (UN).

As part of this, it offers an intensive curriculum organised around the following thematic axes: Peace, justice and reliable institutions; Work and economic growth; Sustainable cities and communities; Responsible production and consumption; Good health and well-being.

It should be noted that the School was included in the Ibero-American Guide to Good Internationalisation Practices of the Organisation of Ibero-American States (OEI). In turn, it is sponsored by the Association of Universities of the Montevideo Group (AUGM).

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Those who wish to enter the School should follow the link. The deadline for registration is Monday, May 27, 2024. The amount to be paid will be the equivalent of 200 US dollars in Argentine pesos at the exchange rate on the date the payment link is sent (after online registration). The price includes: educational service; educational material; transfers and meals to the city where the fieldwork will be conducted and a certificate of participation.
