“Insight into Northeast China” Online Chinese Courses for Ukrainian youth will be launched by the Northeast Center for Chinese International Education of Jilin University from March to April 2024. The program will provide 3 modules, including “Online Interactive Courses”, “Theme Lectures” and “Live Micro MOOC”, to contribute young students to learn Chinese and experience traditional Chinese culture.

The “Online Interactive Courses” will focus on enjoyable Chinese lessons to improve language proficiency and communication skills. The “Theme Lectures” allows students to explore ancient and modern China, the mysteries of Chinese language as well as the charm of Chinese culture through live courses. The “Live Micro MOOC” will provide high-quality recorded Chinese language and culture courses.
The courses are designed by experienced international Chinese language teachers, which focus on mastering the content, characteristics Chinese language, enhancing language output, and improving language communication skills. Meanwhile, it emphasizes specialized training for the HSK exam, helping students better understand the exam content, and assisting them in preparing for the HSK exam effectively.
The lectures on Chinese history and culture, famous historical sites, social development, traditional festivals, Chinese cuisine and so on, will be presented through live lectures for students to experience traditional Chinese culture from ancient to modern time.
