Call for Applications: Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Scholarship for Students Majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Cologne (Federal Republic of Germany)

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students, 1st year Master Students and PhD students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during the autumn semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Cologne, Federal Republic of Germany.

Eligible majors: Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, Information and Communication Technologies

Please, consider that for Bachelor students the main teaching language is German with some English-language disciplines available. For Master students there are courses available in English. Please check the language of the courses on the University website.

List of documents to be submitted in English (Individual Schedule in Ukrainian):

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
  •   Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  •   How will studying at the University of Cologne help you achieve your life goals?
  •   What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  •   Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. Certificate of proficiency in English and/or German (not lower than B1 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.

  1. Learning Agreement (Tables A and B) draft signed by the student. (link for downloading Learning Agreement template).

Please note that the minimum number of credits for re-enrollment is 18.

  1. Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be approved and signed by the academic mobility coordinator of the faculty/institute or the head of the department.
  2. For Bachelor and Master students:scan of the Transcript of Records

     For PhD students: scan of Master’s diploma with supplement.

  1. Copy of the 1st page of international passport.
  2. Fill out the following Application form
