According to the results of the competitive selection within the framework of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union in 2023, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv became a participant in a number of new projects.
KA2 projects “Cooperation between organizations and institutions”
The University is a member of 8 consortia under KA2 projects of the “Cooperation between organizations and institutions” direction, namely:
- DigiUni – Open Ukrainian Initiative (coordinator – Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine);
- Communicative Needs in a First-aid Kit for humanitarian emergency situations (coordinator – University of Salamanca, Spain);
- Promoting Academic Freedom in Ukraine (coordinator – University of Graz, Austria);
- Green Roofs in higher education institutions as sustainable cEnters for research, participation, ENvironmental consciousness and O2 generation (coordinator – University of Tuscia, Italy);
- Global Teachers for a Sustainable Future (coordinator – Cardenal Herrera University, Spain);
- Modernization of legal education for the support of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine (coordinator – Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine);
- Curriculum Reform to Promote Education for Peace in Ukraine and Georgia (coordinator – University of Tampere, Finland);
- The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises (coordinator – Nord University, Norway).
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, as the coordinator of the DigiUni – Open Ukrainian Initiative project, will cooperate in the project consortium with a number of foreign and Ukrainian higher education partners, including displaced persons, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education.

Another winning project of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the Erasmus+ program is the project “Threats Actualization to European Security: Russian-Ukrainian War Impact” (project type: Jean Monnet Module).
Erasmus Mundus projects
We are also proud that one Erasmus Mundus master’s program development project for higher education institutions was selected by the European Commission for funding, namely “Joint Degree in Political Geography”. The co-coordinators of the project are the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Projects KA171 “International credit mobility”
As of today, successful application results for Erasmus+ KA171 2023 projects with the following European partner universities have also been published:
