Call for Applications: Study Abroad under Bilateral Cooperation – Lund University (Sweden)
Mobility opportunity for the students of the Faculty of Sociology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Applications are now open for Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarships to study during the spring semester of the 2026/2027 academic year (Spring 2027) at Lund University (Sweden).
The deadline for submitting documents via email is September 25, 2026.
Eligibility:
- First-year Master’s students majoring in Sociology (C5).
- Second- and third-year Bachelor’s students majoring in Sociology (C5/054).
Applicants must submit the following documents in English:
- CV in EUROPASS format.
- Motivation letter (maximum 1 page) addressing the following questions:
- Why do you wish to participate in the Erasmus+ program?
- How will studying at Lund University contribute to achieving your life goals?
- What knowledge and skills do you expect to acquire?
- Why would you be a worthy representative of KNU for this exchange program?
- Individual study schedule (the form can be downloaded from the Academic Mobility Department’s website), indicating tentative dates for taking exams upon return and bearing the approval signature of the relevant department head or the Faculty of Sociology mobility coordinator. Please note that the minimum number of credits eligible for transfer is 15 ECTS.
- Certificate of English language proficiency at level B2 or higher (certificates issued by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv or a recommendation from an English language instructor specifying the proficiency level are also accepted; a template is available via the link).
- Scanned copy of the Bachelor’s degree diploma and its supplement (for Master’s students) or a Transcript of Records (for Bachelor’s students).
- Detailed information regarding previous participation in academic mobility programs (duration, level of study, project type, host institution).

IMPORTANT:
The application package must be compiled into a single PDF file (documents in other formats will not be considered) following the order listed above; the file name must include the university name and the applicant’s surname: Lund-Sociology-2027-Ivanenko.
