Participation in the exchange program at Aoyama Gakuin University (Japan)
Mobility opportunity for the 2nd, 3rd year Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!
We invite you to participate in the competitive selection to study in the exchange program within the framework of bilateral cooperation during the spring semester, the academic year 2026-2027 at Aoyama Gakuin University (Japan).
Under the exchange program, students are offered free education during the semester, the student covers other expenses independently.
Application deadline: 20 September 2026.
List of documents to be submitted in English:
- CV in EUROPASS format;
- Motivation letter (up to 1 page).
- Certificate of proficiency in English (not lower than B2 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.

- For Bachelor students: scan of the Transcript of Records translated in English and certified. For acquiring a Transcript of Records, please contact an academic coordinator at the faculty/institute.
For Master students: scan of Bachelor’s diploma with supplement.
- Individual plan (link for downloading Individual plan template). Individual schedule has to be signed by the head of the department or the Faculty/Institute mobility coordinator. Please note that the minimum number of credits for re-enrollment is 15 ECTS.

WE DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FROM THE HOST UNIVERSITY FOR CANDIDATES!
The applicant must have studied Japanese for more than 1 year, and have Japanese language ability equivalent to the N5 Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
The applicants who wish to take courses in English only: must be a native English speaker or hold one of the following English proficiency scores: ・IELTS 5.5 ・TOEFL iBT 4.0 or above overall under the new score scale/ TOEFL iBT 68 or above under the old score scale 2 ・Duolingo English Test (DET) score of 95 or above.
