New opportunities for Ukrainian researchers, practitioners and institutions working on recovery and reconstruction!
The Innovate Cities & Infrastructure programme, launched by ETH Zurich’s ETH4D in partnership with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, is now accepting applications.
Recognising Ukraine’s unique context, the programme includes an expanded focus on recovery and reconstruction. Eligible projects may support:
🔹 Resilient public infrastructure and modern public services
🔹 Humanitarian response, demining and reintegration
🔹 Economic recovery, innovation and private sector development
🔹 Skills and expertise for rebuilding Ukraine
Funding opportunities include:
🔹 Urban Research Grants – up to 350,000 Swiss francs
🔹 Urban Pilot Grants – up to 30,000 Swiss francs
Research projects are selected through a competitive Call for Proposal process.
Each research project has to be conducted by a consortium of researchers from the ETH-Domain and practice partners from eligible countries.
