Call for Applications: Erasmus+ mobility to study at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, the Federal Republic of Germany

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students and the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during the autumn semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, the Federal Republic of Germany.

Application deadline: 17 May 2026

Eligible majors: German Philology, Translation from German, Industry-specific Translation from German and English, Intercultural German Studies.

List of documents to be submitted in German or English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
  •     Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  •     How will studying at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum help you achieve your life goals?
  •     What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  •     Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. Learning Agreement (Tables A and B) signed by the student and a responsible person from the faculty / institute(dean of the faculty / director of the institute or academic mobility coordinator of the faculty / institute or head of the department. Please note that the minimum number of credits is 18 ECTS.

  1. Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be approved andsigned by the dean of the faculty/director of the institute or the academic mobility coordinator of the faculty/institute or the head of the department.
  2. Certificate of proficiency in German B1/B2 level and/or English not lower than B2 level. Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well. Link for downloading Certificate template.
  3. Photo or scan of the Transcript of Records in English.
  4. Copy of the 1st page of international passport.
  5. Detailed information on previous participation in the Erasmus+ programme (duration, level of study, project type, host institution).
  6. Fill out the Application form
