Mobility opportunity for 2-3 years Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!
We invite you to participate in the competitive selection for the purpose of participating in the Summer Seminar in Bulgarian language and culture.
The seminar at Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“ will be held from July 12 to August 01, 2026.
Disciplines. Participants can choose between specialized seminars in the following areas: 1) Bulgarian language and translation; 2) Bulgarian literature and culture.
Funding. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria provides scholarships covering:
- Accommodation and meals
- Educational and cultural program.
Participation in the Seminar (tuition, accommodation, meals and cultural program) is free of charge for those on scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Travel expenses to and from Bulgaria and health insurance must be covered by the participants themselves.
Application deadline: 25 March 2026.

- CV in EUROPASS format.
- Motivation letter (up to 1 page).
- Certificate of proficiency in Bulgarian Language (not lower than B1 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.
