
The Baltic University Programme invites young researchers (up to 5 years after PhD) from BUP member universities to apply for a grant of up to EUR 3,000 to conduct research on sustainable development at a university in another Baltic Sea Region country.
The research should be related to sustainable development (environmental, social or economic aspect). The applications can be made for the funding of new research projects (in whole or in part), or as a financial contribution to ongoing ones, as far as the applicant stays at another university in the Baltic Sea Region during the Mobility Grant period. Applicants representing any discipline are welcome to apply.
The grant covers travel and accommodation costs.
The minimum period of stay is 1 month.

In 2025 Mariia Chernykh from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the project ‘Electrophysiological Biomarkers of Second Language Acquisition in Children with ASD and Receptive and Expressive Language Delays: Towards Individualized Teaching Strategies’ won the BUP Mobility Grant.
