Call for applications: Erasmus+ mobility for teaching at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, the Republic of Bulgaria

Mobility opportunity for teaching staff from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and Faculty of History of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to teach for up to 7 days during spring semester, academic year 2025/2026 (no later than 15 July 2026) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, the Republic of Bulgaria.

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
  • Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  • How will work at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” help you achieve your life goals?
  • What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  • Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. Mobility Agreement (draft). Before signing the document at KNU you should contact the relevant faculty/department from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” by sending an e-mail to agree on the teaching plan. If you receive a positive response, provide your Mobility Agreement form to the partner university for signing. After that, get a signature at KNU.
  2. A detailed plan of the work you intend to do at the university.
  3. Certificate of proficiency in English or Bulgarian not lower than B2 Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well. Link for downloading Certificate template.
  4. A copy of the 1stpage of the passport
  5. Also fill in the Application form

Please send the documents in electronic form to , in one PDF file (documents in other formats will not be considered) in the same order as above, the name of the file must contain the name of the University and the surname of the applicant: SU-teaching-2026-Ivanenko.
