
The Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES) at Södertörn University, Sweden, has announced a Ukrainian Research Fellowship Programme (URFP). Up to six visiting researchers will be welcomed at CBEES or another department/centre/unit at Södertörn University. This fellowship programme is specifically tailored for lecturers and professors currently residing and working at Higher Education Institutions in Ukraine. They welcome applications, especially from colleagues in social science, humanities, teacher education, and environmental science.
During the temporary placement at Södertörn University, up to three months during the autumn semester of 2025, the visiting researchers can expand their academic network and actively participate in the research environment at the University. The researcher granted the fellowship is expected to work on-site at Södertörn University.
Qualifications
You are qualified for the URF Visiting Researcher Programme if you are currently working as a lecturer or professor on-site at a Higher Education Institution in Ukraine.
You must be able to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing.
Employment details
The position is full-time for a period of up to three months during the autumn semester of 2025; the first possible starting date is 1 September.
Apart from the salary, the URF Programme will cover the travel costs from and back to Ukraine.
The University will also assist with finding accommodation in Stockholm.
