Erasmus+ mobility scholarships for students and staff affected by the war in Ukraine

To the attention of the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students, 1st year Master Students PhD students, teaching and administrative staff of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) announces an invitation to apply for Erasmus+ scholarship for students and staff affected by the war in Ukraine for the following periods:

For students:

  • Spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year (February 2025 – early July 2025). Deadline for application 15 November 2024.
  • Autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year (September 2025 – early February 2026). Deadline for application 30 May 2025.

For Staff:

The application is continuous. Please contact us at  to inquire about Erasmus+ scholarship opportunities.

Duration of the mobility:

Students: minimum 2 months, up to 5 months (1 semester).

Staff: up to 1 week (7 days), with the possibility of renewal for an additional week (7 more days)

APPLICATION PROCESS

For Students:

  1. Passport copy
  2. Proof of enrolment at your home (Ukrainian) university (one of the following):
  • Certificate of student status
  • Latest transcript of records
  • Nomination letter from your home university
  1. Diploma (for MA or PhD students)
  2. Motivational Letter in English or Hungarian including detailed study or research plan – How to write a motivation letter?
  3. Academic CV (preferably in English) including your email address and field of study.

For Staff:

  1. Passport copy
  2. Proof of employment at your home (Ukrainian) university (one of the following):
  • Employment contract
  • Nomination letter from your university
  • Any other document confirming your employment
  1. Academic CV (preferably in English) including your email address, department/faculty you work at and a list of publications
  2. Preliminary teaching plan detailing planned lectures/seminars/workshops
  3. Temporary protection document or temporary residence permit (if applicable)

Once we have received your application, we will forward it to the indicated ELTE department/institute you wish to join. In case the department/institute can host you, we will notify you about the next steps of the application process via email. Applications are on a first come, first serve basis, up to the limit of the budget.
