EXCHANGE PROGRAMME: THE UNIVERSITY OF GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students and the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

The exchange opportunity to study at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden during the spring semester of the 2024 / 2025 academic year.

Eligible majors: Philology (the first language is English, German or Swedish), Secondary Education (English language and foreign literature).

Disciplines. Please, follow the link below (disciplines) in order to select courses at the host university. You can choose any of the available departments, but the courses offered at the Department of Languages and Literatures and/or the Department of Swedish, Multilingualism, Language Technology are most likely to suit you. The minimum number of credits per semester is 30 ECTS.

Application deadline: 30 October 2024 until 13:00.

List of documents to be submitted in English (Individual Schedule in Ukrainian):

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page)
  3. Certificate of proficiency in English (not lower than B2 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well. Link for downloading Certificate template. And/or Certificate of Swedish language proficiency not lower than B1.
  4. Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be signed by the head of the department or the Faculty/Institute mobility coordinator.
  5. For Bachelor students: photo or scan of the Transcript of Records in English. For Master students: scan of Bachelor’s diploma with supplement.
  6. Application form

Please, note that from April 1, 2024, you can get the Transcript of Records in English by contacting the department of your faculty/institute.

Please send the documents in electronic form to, in one PDF file (documents in other formats will not be considered) in the same order as above, the name of the file must contain the name of the University and the surname of the applicant: Gothenburg-2025_Kovalenko.
