CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: EXCHANGE PROGRAMME AT THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH, GREAT BRITAIN

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students majoring in Social and Political Sciences; English Language and Literature; Chemistry.

Master students majoring in Chemistry may apply as well.

Exchange opportunity to study during spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at University of Edinburgh, Great Britain within the Bilateral Partnership.

The autumn semester at the University of Edinburgh is from 8 January to 26 May 2025.

List of documents to be submitted in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
  •   Why do you want to participate in the exchange programme and study at the University of Edinburgh?
  •   How will study at the Scottish University help you achieve your life goals?
  •   What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  •   Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?

3.Transcript of records translated in English and certified. Contact for certification of translation.

Please, note that the International Relations Office certifies translations of Transcripts of records only until 1 April 2024. After that day Transcripts of records in English are issued at a faculty/institute.

  1. Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be signed by the head of the department or the Faculty/Institute mobility coordinator.
  2. Certificate of proficiency in English

IELTS (Academic module) – overall 6.5 with 5.5 in each component

TOEFL iBT (including Special Home Edition) – 92 or above with 20 in each section

Trinity ISE – ISE II (distinction all components) / ISE III

Cambridge CAE/CPE – 176 overall (162 component), grade A-C

After being nominated by KNU, the participants will have the meeting with coordinators from the partner-university.
