CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: ERASMUS + MOBILITY FOR STUDY, FACULTY OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES, UNIVERSITY OF COLOGNE (GERMANY)

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne.

Eligible majors: this programme is of particular interest to students studying philology and languages (available modules: English, Portuguese, French, German, Chinese, etc.), historical sciences (archaeology, American studies), African studies, philosophy and cultural studies.

Please note: the English Studies programme is fully taught in English, while the other programmes are in German. Some courses may be held in English or other foreign languages: Africana Studies, Archaeology, Chinese Studies, Digital Humanities, History, Linguistics and Phonetics, Media Culture Studies, Musicology, Philosophy, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Slavic Studies, etc.

  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page)
  • Why do you want to participate in the exchange and study at the University of Cologne?
  • How will studying at University of Cologne contribute to the realization of your life goals?
  • What knowledge and skills do you expect to acquire?
  • Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. Certificate of proficiency in English and/or German (not lower than B2 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well. To download the language form, please follow the link.
  2. For Bachelor students: photo or scan of the Transcript of Records translated in English and certified. For acquiring a Transcript of Records, please contact an academic registrar at the faculty/institute. Contact  for certification of translation.

For Master students: scan of Bachelor’s diploma with supplement.
