KNU PILOT COUL “United Expertise: Tackling Ukraine’s Wartime Challenges through Interdisciplinary Solutions”

On April 1, 2024, the COUL (Collaborative Online Ukrainian Learning) pilot project “United Expertise: Tackling Ukraine’s Wartime Challenges through Interdisciplinary Solutions” was launched at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The project is aimed at collaborative multidisciplinary interaction of students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations, Educational and Scientific Institute of Law, Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and the Military Faculty of Taras Shevchenko KNU to tackle modern challenges facing Ukraine.

54 students from April 1 to May 11, 2024 will work on identifying the key challenges facing Ukraine in war conditions in their fields and with their own group ideas about the possibilities of overcoming them. Students will work under the leadership of 5 faculty members of Taras Shevchenko KNU (Liliia Goncharuk, Candidate of Philological Sciences (PhD), Colonel, Head of the Special Language Training Department of the Military Faculty of International Relations and Law of the Military Institute; Svitlana Pereplotchykova, Candidate of Philological Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor at the Department of English Philology and Intercultural Communication of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology; Anastasia Pozhar, Candidate of Philological Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law; Liudmyla Shvorak, Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor at the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations and Olha Yashenkova, Candidate of Philological Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor at the Department of English Philology and Intercultural Communication of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology. At the end of the project, students will have the opportunity to present the results of their group work.
