The Mieroszewski Center announces a call for projects on dialogue between Poles and the peoples of Eastern Europe

Dear Colleagues,

The Mieroszewski Centre announced a call for applications for the 2nd Open Competition for the co-financing of projects promoting dialogue between Poles and the nations of Eastern Europe.

The Centre wants to support and fund projects that have educational elements as an integral part, bringing knowledge of the history, culture, heritage and current events of the peoples of Eastern Europe. Each project should have a clearly defined objective, theme and scenario.

The Centre’s initiative not only supports projects financially, but also provides an opportunity to develop cooperation between different sectors of society and promote intercultural dialogue.

  • Applications will be accepted until 22 March 2024.
  • Project implementation by 31 October 2024.
  • Project implementation report by 30 November 2024.
  • Application: the application and the documents constituting the attachments to the application are drawn up using the application generator available at: otwartykonkurs.mieroszewski.pl.

The Mieroszewski Centre is a state institution established by the act of the Polish Parliament and supervised by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.

The mission of the Mieroszewski Centre is to initiate, support and carry out activities aimed at the peoples of Eastern Europe, in particular Ukrainians, Belarusians, Georgians and Moldovans, in order to strengthen the independence of their countries, in the light of Russian attempts to revise borders and rebuild regional hegemony, to support processes that will contribute to the building of mature democracies, to bring them closer to Euro-Atlantic structures and to deepen their ties with Poland.
