Call for Applications: Law Students, University of Cologne (Germany)

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd years Bachelor students, the 1st year Master students and PhD students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during the fall semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne, Germany (lectures are given from 7 October 2024 to 31 January 2025, session is up to 28 February 2025)

Disciplines

 List of documents to be submitted in English (Individual Schedule in Ukrainian):

  1. CV in EUROPASS format;
  2. Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
  •       Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
  •       How will study at the University of Cologne help you achieve your life goals?
  •       What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
  •       Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange?
  1. For Bachelor students: photo or scan of the Transcript of Records translated in English and certified. For acquiring a Transcript of Records, please contact an academic registrar at the faculty/institute. Contact for certification of translation.

For Master students: scan of Bachelor’s diploma with supplement.

For PhD students: scan of Master’s diploma with supplement.

  1. Individual schedule indicating the approximate dates of session upon returning to Home university (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be signed by the head of the department or the Faculty/Institute mobility coordinator.
  2. Certificate of proficiency in English and/or German (not lower than B1 level). Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well.

Please, consider that the language of teaching at the University of Cologne is primarily German with some English-language disciplines available. Please, consult the University website to check the language of a discipline.
