Call for Applications: Erasmus+ mobility to study at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Cologne, the Federal Republic of Germany

Mobility opportunity for the 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor students, 1st year Master students and PhD students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv!
Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarship to study during the autumn semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Cologne, the Federal Republic of Germany (lectures are given from the 12th of October 2026 till the 28th February 2027 (including the examination period)).
Application deadline: 17 April 2026
Eligible majors: Medicine
Please note that teaching at the University of Cologne is conducted primarily in German, although there are also courses offered in English. We kindly ask you to check the language of instruction on the university’s website.
List of documents to be submitted in English:
- CV in EUROPASS format;
- Motivation letter (up to 1 page) which should explain:
- Why do you want to participate in the Erasmus+ programme?
- How will studying at the University of Cologne help you achieve your life goals?
- What knowledge do you expect to gain and what skills to acquire?
- Why would you be a worthy representative from KNU to participate in the exchange
- Learning Agreement draft (Tables A and B) draft signed by the student. (link for downloading Learning Agreement template).
Please note that the minimum number of credits for re-enrollment is 18.
- Individual schedule (link for downloading Individual schedule template). Individual schedule has to be approved and signed by the academic mobility coordinator of the faculty/institute or the head of the department.
- Certificate of language proficiency in German not lower than B1 level. Certificate of language proficiency from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is acceptable as well. To download the language form, please follow the link.
- Photo or scan of the Transcript of Records in English.
For PhD students: scan of Master’s diploma with supplement.
- Copy of the 1st page of international passport.
