Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, the teaching staff of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv are invited to apply for Erasmus+ credit mobility scholarships for teaching for a duration of one week during the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at the University of Cologne, Federal Republic of Germany.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents in English:

  1. CV in EUROPASS format.
  2. Mobility Agreement (form);

Before signing the document at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, applicants must contact the relevant faculty of the University of Cologne via email in order to agree on the teaching plan. Upon receiving a positive response, the applicant should submit the Mobility Agreement to the partner university for signing. After that, the document must be submitted for signing at KNU.

  1. Pre-Acceptance Letter from the relevant department/unit of the University of Cologne where the teaching activity is planned.
  2. Language Certificate confirming English or German language proficiency at least at B2 level. A copy of a diploma or a language proficiency certificate issued by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is also accepted.

Information for Lecturers Preparing Documents for Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility at the University of Cologne Please note that the Mobility Agreement must be signed only by the applicant.

A signature from the partner university is not required at the stage of preparing the application documents. When selecting the mobility period, please take into account the academic calendar of the partner university:

  • Summer Term 2026: 13 April – 24 July 2026
  • Winter Term 2026/2027: 12 October 2026 – 5 February 2027
  • Summer Term 2027: 5 April – 16 July 2027

The deadline for submitting documents has been extended until 20 March 2026. The mobility period must be completed by the end of July 2027. A sample Pre Acceptance Letter Template is attached for your reference.

IMPORTANT:

The complete set of documents must be compiled into one single PDF file (documents submitted in other formats will not be considered), arranged in the order listed above.

The file name must include the name of the host university and the applicant’s surname, for example: COLOGNE-2026-teaching-Ivanenko
